Cluster Resources - Moab Cluster Manager and Monitor

Moab Cluster Manager and MonitorTM

Moab Cluster Manager is a platform independent graphical interface to a Moab Workload Manager server.  With the click of a button, administrators can tune the behavior of their cluster, managers can view cluster performance, and end-users can submit and track workload.

Features

Graphical Interface - Easy to use interface allowing immediate and intuitive access to jobs, nodes, statistics, and policies Main Interface
End User Virtual Partitioning - Define virtual partioning bounding the cluster as viewed by a particular user or organization.  Allow end users to submit and manage their own jobs within their own virtual cluster.
Cluster Administration - Visually overview cluster status, workload conditions, and the relationship of nodes and reservations.
Reservation Management - Create and dynamically modify advance reservations with a broad variety of capabilities.
Event Trigger Support - Use powerful new event triggers to automate maintenance tasks, adjust policies, or send notifications.   Key triggers off of any scheduling object, any time offset, service thresholds, and/or critical events.
Job Evaluation - Quickly find troubled jobs, those belonging to a particular user or group, or jobs which meet specific criteria.  Double click and then manage the items of interest.
Fairness Policies - Dynamically set and modify fairness policies, viewing current usage and the impact of the new policies on users.
Workload Prioritization - Specify workload value based on an extensive array of job attributes.  Tune priority factors to favor certain projects, particular request types, improve responsiveness, maximize utilization, etc
QoS/Service Level Agreement Enforcement - Guarantee resource availability and turnaround time for key projects, specify service levels with specific billing rates, resource access, and performance thresholds.
Configure and Manage Virtual Cluster Service Architecture - Graphically enable, configure, and monitor resource, network, license, provisioning, and file managers.  Determine performance, load, and failures.
Grid and Multi-Cluster Management - Integrate resources from multiple systems into a single virtual cluster coordinating workload and policies across all systems.  Create rules for managing data and workload flow between other grid systems.
Monitor, Diagnose and Report on Resource Allocation - Visualize live and historical utilization, resource allocation, and backlog.  Create professional reports onservice levels provided and resource usage for organizational units.
Security & Authentication - Define management roles and dynamically add capabilities to trusted users
Configuration and Operational Management - Control operational mode and settings for system behavior, logging, simulation, scheduling optimizations, and oth er facilities
