Manually Modifying Configuration

The Backup System

Every time the wizard runs, a backup copy of the current configuration files is stored in /var/mcb/backups/<date>.

Changing Files

If you want to modify configuration manually, please remember that your changes will be lost when you re-run the wizard. (A copy of your modified files will be found in the backups for recovery / manual merging of changes.)

Restoring from a Backup

If you want to restore a backup from a particular date, run the restore.sh script found in the backup folder. You may need to restart the head node and reinstall some compute nodes after that.
