If you try to run both and use both to schedule you will have issues with torque and LSF scheduling workload independently possibly overloading nodes.

As far as port numbers and networking there should be no overlap.

Subject: [torqueusers] Newbie question

Hi,

we are currently using LSF (Platform) for our cluster,
but we are thinking about a replacement with torque.
Now for testing everything I would like to ask: Has anybody
installed torque beside LSF on a cluster ? Can I try to do so, or might
I run into some big problems ? It would be nice to try a few things
with the real environment.
