Adaptive doesn't have an internal bug yet but we'll find a way to fix this
in configure.ac. I'm guessing you can add a line like:

PKG_CONFIG=pkg-config

to the top of configure.ac to fix this. I'm not sure yet and I haven't had
any time to look into it.
