We've seen issues with MATLAB being slow using -X, but
other X applications seem to perform just fine via -X
so we're of the opinion it's MATLAB doing something odd.
Is there any reason why the users need to run a GUI
program on a compute node ? Can't they do the devel
on their desktop and then run it in batch mode with
- -nojvm -nogui -nosplash ?
cheers,
Chris
