If you look in /usr/local/sbin or where you decided to install TORQUE 
there is a symbolic link named qnoded. This is just a link to pbs_mom. 
If you run pbs_mom and qnoded you will really be running pbs_mom twice. 
I suggest removing qnoded if you are not using that name.
