[torqueusers] how to disable abort mails?

Dear list,

we have a cluster running with torque 2.3.7 and maui 3.2p21. The
problem: "abort" mails are always sent to the users regardless of "-m
n" or a missing "-m" statement. In some cases, namely when a job
cannot communicate with a hanging/crashed pbs_mom, a job is being
"aborted" in every iteration creating thousands of mails. Mails could
be deactivated completely using the "mail_domain=never" workaround but
that would also disable useful "termination" mails, which contain
resource usage information.

Any ideas or experiences on this?
