Do you have resources_available.nodect set in or server parameters?

Subject: [torqueusers] nodes, procs and ppn

All,

I am running torque-2.5.3 with maui-3.3.
Currently a VERY basic maui config:
-----------
SERVERHOST master
ADMIN1 root
ADMINHOST master
RMTYPE[0] PBS
RMHOST[0] master
RMSERVER[0] master
SERVERPORT 40559
SERVERMODE NORMAL
NODEALLOCATIONPOLICY CPULOAD
JOBNODEMATCHPOLICY EXACTNODE
RMPOLLINTERVAL 00:00:10
LOGFILE /var/log/maui.log
LOGFILEMAXSIZE 10000000
LOGLEVEL 3
-----------

Now I am a bit confused (and frustrated) over something.
When I submit a job with:
#PBS nodes=4:ppn=8

I get 1 line with 1 node in my $PBS_NODEFILE
but if I use the torque scheduler, I get 32 lines with 4 uniq lines.

Am I missing something here??

Brian Andrus
