Which MPI are you using ?   Does it now how to talk to Torque ?

If it doesn't then you'll need to tell it to use the
$PBS_NODEFILE as the list of nodes to run the job on.

But it's much better to use something like Open-MPI or
the OSC mpiexec which do know how to talk to Torque about
launching jobs, then you won't have to tell it how many
processess to run or where they should go.
