[torqueusers] nodes, procs and ppn

I am running torque-2.5.3 with maui-3.3.
Currently a VERY basic maui config:

Now I am a bit confused (and frustrated) over something.
When I submit a job with:
#PBS nodes=4:ppn=8
 
I get 1 line with 1 node in my $PBS_NODEFILE
but if I use the torque scheduler, I get 32 lines with 4 uniq lines.
 
 
Am I missing something here??
