[torqueusers] problems with hyphens?

Has anyone else found that Torque doesn't seem to be able to cope with
user names or group names that contain '-' characters?

We get obscure and unhelpful errors if a user with a - in the name tries
to submit a job, and the group ACL rules set on queues in Torque just
don't work if the group names contain -.

Conversely MAUI seems quite happy with -'s.
