[torqueusers] Question about the difference between a node where pbs_server is run and a compute node

I just did some test on 2.4.7 (centos and debian) and it still hangs. How 
did you condigure torque? Does a qstat use the pbs_iff interface or the 
socket implementation.:
  - batch sever node:

bas at batch-ng:~$ strace qstat 2>&1 | grep .unix
connect(3, {sa_family=AF_FILE, path="/tmp/.torque-unix"...}, 19) = 0
}}}

With /tmp/.torque-unix we are experiencing the problems.
