Subject: [torqueusers] Problems with non-root queue management

Howdy,

I am having problems getting management programs like 'qenable' to
function properly while not running as root.

user at pbsserver:~> qenable batch32

qenable: Unauthorized Request batch32

>From server log:

04/26/2010 14:07:15;0080;PBS_Server;Req;req_reject;Reject reply
code=15007(Unauthorized Request ), aux=0, type=Manager, from
user at pbsserver.domain.local

Server configuration:

#

# Create queues and set their attributes.

#

#

# Create and define queue batch32

#

create queue batch32

set queue batch32 queue_type = Execution

set queue batch32 max_running = 32

set queue batch32 resources_default.walltime = 48:00:00

set queue batch32 enabled = True

set queue batch32 started = True

#

# Create and define queue batch

#

create queue batch

set queue batch queue_type = Execution

set queue batch resources_default.nodes = 1

set queue batch resources_default.walltime = 72:00:00

set queue batch enabled = True

set queue batch started = True

#

# Set server attributes.

#

set server scheduling = True

set server acl_hosts = pbsserver

set server acl_hosts += *

set server managers = user@*

set server managers += root@*

set server operators = user@*

set server operators += root@*

set server default_queue = batch

set server log_events = 511

set server mail_from = adm

set server scheduler_iteration = 600

set server node_check_rate = 150

set server tcp_timeout = 6

set server node_pack = True

set server auto_node_np = True

set server next_job_number = 44040

While the torque install is done to an NFS export, I have verified that
setuid programs to run correctly from that nfs export to ensure that
pbs_iff is able to run correctly. Commands like pbsnodes work without
any problems.

Any ideas on what I might be missing here?
