Hello,
I am trying to run torque 2.4.2 on an octuple-core Mac Pro with Mac OS
10.6. After compiling it with gcc 4.2.1, I am unable to run
'pbs_server -t create' - it generates a message 'Abort trap'. The log
file does not contain anything suspicious, although the server does
not report its PID:

I tried configuring torque with --disable-privports option, but the
result was the same. Also, I tested the 2.3.7 version with no success.
Could you please help me overcome this problem?
Best regards,
Zygmunt
