[torqueusers] pbs_server

Hello,

I installed torque (version 2.3.1) on a host with SLES 10 SP1
( 2.6.16.54-0.2.5-smp #1 SMP Mon Jan 21 13:29:51 UTC 2008 x86_64 x86_64 
x86_64 GNU/Linux)

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/torque
make
make install

But I can not configure the queue system :

A)

/torque.setup root

initializing TORQUE (admin: root at calculus)
PBS_Server calculus.ifm-geomar.de: Create mode and server database exists,
do you wish to continue y/(n)?y
PBS_Server: Bad file descriptor (9) in PBS_Server, pbs_server: another 
server running

pbs_server: another server running
Cannot connect to default server host 'calculus.ifm-geomar.de' - check 
pbs_server daemon.
qmgr: cannot connect to server  (errno=111) Connection refused
ERROR: cannot set TORQUE admins
Cannot connect to default server host 'calculus.ifm-geomar.de' - check 
pbs_server daemon.
qterm: could not connect to server '' (111) Connection refused

I'm sure there is no  process on socket 15001 (lsof -an | grep 1500 , 
netstat -anp | grep 1500)

B)
/usr/local/torque/sbin/pbs_server -D -t create

PBS_Server calculus.ifm-geomar.de: Create mode and server database exists,
do you wish to continue y/(n)?y
pbs_server is up

but I get no  prompt back

C)

this is an endless loop

When using method B) or C) I can start qmgr in an other window.

Is there somebody who could say why or which  "Resource temporarily 
unavailable"
