[torqueusers] request strange number of cpus

I cant figure out how to request 9 cpus from 2 cpus nodes when i want  
most cpus to use ppn=2

I tried

#PBS -l nodes=4:ppn=2+nodes=1:ppn=1

But gets rejected by the server.  I could do nodes=9:ppn=1  but i  
want ppn=2 as much as i can.
