Hi,
Thank all for you help. Indeed I had trouble with the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Now it's fixed.
So I tried the testing command
(http://www.clusterresources.com/wiki/doku.php?id=torque:1.4_testing)

map:~# whoami
root
map:~# qterm -t quick
map:~# pbs_server
map:~# qstat -q

server: localhost

Queue Memory CPU Time Walltime Node Run Que Lm State

batch -- -- -- -- 0 0 -- E R
                                               ----- -----
                                                   0 0
map:~# qmgr -c 'p s'
#
# Create queues and set their attributes.
#
#
# Create and define queue batch
#
create queue batch
set queue batch queue_type = Execution
set queue batch resources_default.nodes = 1
set queue batch resources_default.walltime = 01:00:00
set queue batch enabled = True
set queue batch started = True
#
# Set server attributes.
#
set server scheduling = True
set server default_queue = batch
set server log_events = 511
set server mail_from = adm
set server scheduler_iteration = 600
set server node_check_rate = 150
set server tcp_timeout = 6
set server pbs_version = 2.1.8

map:~# pbsnodes -a
pbsnodes: Server has no node list MSG=node list is empty
map:~# su julien
julien at map:/root$ echo "sleep 30" | qsub
4.localhost.localdomain
julien at map:/root$ qstat
julien at map:/root$ su
Password:
map:~# qstat
map:~#
map:~# pbs_sched
pbs_sched: Address already in use (98) in main, bind
map:~# ps aux | grep pbs

So, I've got no error message, but still...
I'm totally beginner in cluster resource (and even in linux), but I
guess qstat is suppose to return me something, no? So any idea of what's
wrong ?

Thanks for your help

Julien
