[torqueusers] a compiler error in building torque with gcc-3.2.2

Takabatake,

  A source review does not reveal anything obviously wrong with the
function in which the failure is reported.  Because the error is
'Internal compiler error' I think you are correct that the best answer
is to try to upgrade your compiler and try again.  If you still see it,
let us know and we will try to assist you further.
