IIRC this error is being relayed from the pbs_server, it's not Maui that is 
causing it - it's just the messenger in this case.

I suspect it's reporting a problem between either the pbs_server and the 
pbs_mom or between pbs_mom sisters.

If you're right about the GCC problem (and it's not beyond possibility) you 
will need to recompile Torque.

Fedora Core 2 is quite old, so you may want to look at building a newer GCC to 
get a different set of bugs to compile with. :-)
