Wierd - are you using Maui/Moab for scheduling, or using pbs_sched ?
If you're using Maui/Moab what do the following commands say ?
checknode bw5mpet
checknode bw7mpet
The only possible solution that comes to mind offhand would be a build of a
newer GCC to see if that handles it better..
