We have a system consisting of different types of nodes, one set of dual
opterons and one set of singles. There are different queues for the
different types of nodes, and they are sat up in maui, by
CLASSCFG[nr1] MAXPROC=20
CLASSCFG[nr2] MAXPROC=20
SRCFG[nr1] PERIOD=INFINITY
SRCFG[nr1] CLASSLIST=double
SRCFG[nr1] HOSTLIST=c00[1-9],c0[10-19]
SRCFG[nr2] PERIOD=INFINITY
SRCFG[nr2] CLASSLIST=single
SRCFG[nr2] HOSTLIST=b00[1-9],b0[10-19]
We are running maui-3.2.6p9 and torque-1.1.0p4, and at some point in
time the system (torque) got confused, and somehow believies that there
are more free nodes than what is actually the case.
Two questions:
1. What could be the reason for this?
2. Is it possible to "reset" the system without bringing down the
running jobs?
Regards,
/jon
