[torqueusers] pbs_iff cannot authenticate user

Hello,

I saw this thread from October and it exactly describes my problem,
however the thread ends without a solution!

Has anyone solved this problem of pbs_iff giving 
"pbs_iff: MSG=cannot authenticate user "
Errors when issuing commands (qsub, qstat, pbsnodes) from an HPUX 11.11
machine to a Linux server?
