Greetings,
In the torquequickstart and pbs mini-howto, both documents reference
"$clienthost" as a setting in mom_priv/config. However, this gives me the
following in mom_logs (on master server):
09/14/2004 15:29:49;0001; pbs_mom;Svr;pbs_mom;read_config, special command
name client_host not found
This is with torque1.1.0p1 newly compiled and installed. When I change it to
"clienthost" no error appears and the log instead shows:
09/14/2004 15:51:42;0080; pbs_mom;n/a;add_static;config[1] add name
client_host value alpha
09/14/2004 15:51:42;0002; pbs_mom;n/a;initialize;independent
09/14/2004 15:51:42;0002; pbs_mom;Svr;pbs_mom;Is up
However, pbsnodes -a shows no nodes. Interestingly, when mom wasn't working
before (using "$clienthost"), pbsnodes -a *did* show all the nodes.
"$clienthost" works fine on the compute nodes. Should I not be able to run a
MOM on the master node, where pbs_server is running?
