I'm sorry for your inconvenience, but this didn't work fine before. We only fix things due to complaints. I'm fairly certain that it is impossible to parse different values based on commas while allowing values to have commas within. If this were possible, I would have done it that way, and the closest thing we could think of was to support quotations around -W values. By the way, this also was supposed to work previously, and did not. I assure you that the only reason we worked on this code was to fix existing bugs.

This is regrettable. In the future, we will work harder to change things in the proper releases. However, it is worth remembering that this code was going to burn someone. We had two pieces of code in TORQUE set up to work in conflicting ways, and even documented to work in conflicting ways, and it couldn't continue like that. Some of the portals, middleware, and software that interacted with TORQUE have long-standing bugs caused by this conflicting behavior, even if not all of them did.

Again, I understand that this wasn't the right time to change things, and we will do better at this in the future. I apologize for the inconvenience.
