Hello-

Apologies in advance for any overlap; I submitted this question to the torqueusers list about two weeks ago, but did not get any replies...

Would using gres (a.k.a. generic consumable resource specification) for
transmitting compute-node stats, such as %CPU (user and system), count
as abuse of this feature?

The update interval could be controlled with $status_update_time in
mom_priv/config.  Perhaps this can be set to a reasonable value without
hampering scalability...?
