[Mauiusers] Advice On Configuration of Two Independent Clusters With Single Maui Instance

Hi

we have a cluster of nodes which is split into two independent sets of
nodes. Each node set is accessible via a specific queue in torque. The
mapping (queue<->node) is done with node attributes in
/var/spool/pbs/server_priv/nodes, e.g. "set queue myQueueA
resources_default.neednodes = mynodeA" and "set queue myQueueB
resources_default.neednodes = mynodeB".

We observe the following problem: If many high priority jobs are
waiting for execution in myQueueA, low priority jobs sent to myQueueB
are blocked by maui even if the subcluster B is empty. I would expect
maui to handle jobs sent to queue A and queue B independently but in
our configuration this doesn't seem to be the case.

Do you have some advice on how to configure maui in a more efficient way?

Cheers
Jan Erik
