Hello,

I'm having issues trying to integrate Maui with LoadLeveler Free Edition
- http://loadl.farfalladesign.com/LLBasicSource/LLbasic.htm.

Maui reports "RM 'cluster-5' does not support function 'rmeventquery'"
in the log file when I do "showq".

10/16 06:26:51 MRMCheckEvents()
10/16 06:26:51 ALERT: cannot query events on RM (RM 'cluster-5' does
not support function 'rmeventquery')
10/16 06:26:51 MSUAcceptClient(5,ClientSD,HostName,TCP)
10/16 06:26:51 INFO: accept call failed, errno: 11 (Resource
temporarily unavailable)
10/16 06:26:51 INFO: all clients connected. servicing requests

I don't see anything on the queue:

loadl at cluster-5:~> showq
ACTIVE JOBS--------------------
JOBNAME            USERNAME      STATE  PROC   REMAINING
STARTTIME

     0 Active Jobs       0 of    0 Processors Active (0.00%)

IDLE JOBS----------------------
JOBNAME            USERNAME      STATE  PROC     WCLIMIT
QUEUETIME

0 Idle Jobs

BLOCKED JOBS----------------
JOBNAME            USERNAME      STATE  PROC     WCLIMIT
QUEUETIME

Total Jobs: 0 Active Jobs: 0 Idle Jobs: 0 Blocked Jobs: 0

But the LL queue is not empty, as you can see here:

loadl at cluster-5:~> llq

18 job step(s) in queue, 18 waiting, 0 pending, 0 running, 0 held, 0
preempted

I followed all steps from:
http://www.clusterresources.com/products/maui/docs/mauistart.shtml
http://www.clusterresources.com/products/maui/docs/llintegration.shtml
and
http://www.clusterresources.com/products/maui/docs/a.fparameters.shtml#rmcfg

But still can't make Maui talk to LL.

In my maui.cfg I have:

RMCFG[cluster-5] TYPE=LL CONFIGFILE=/home/loadl/LoadL_config

In my LoadL_config I have:

LOADL_ADMIN = loadl

RELEASEDIR      = /opt/ibmll/LoadL/full
LOCAL_CONFIG    = /home/loadl/LoadL_config.local
ADMIN_FILE      = /home/loadl/LoadL_admin
LOG             = /home/loadl/log
SPOOL           = /home/loadl/spool
EXECUTE         = /home/loadl/execute
HISTORY         = $(SPOOL)/history
RESERVATION_HISTORY = $(SPOOL)/reservation_history
BIN             = $(RELEASEDIR)/bin
LIB             = $(RELEASEDIR)/lib

MASTER_STREAM_PORT     = 9616
NEGOTIATOR_STREAM_PORT = 9614
SCHEDD_STREAM_PORT     = 9605
STARTD_STREAM_PORT     = 9611
COLLECTOR_DGRAM_PORT   = 9613
STARTD_DGRAM_PORT      = 9615
MASTER_DGRAM_PORT      = 9617

SCHEDULER_TYPE = API

Any clue ?

Thanks in advance.

Rafael
