Dear Maui People,
I am trying to see how fairshare/throttling reorders jobs to be run on
the cluster, thus I'm calling
# diagnose -p
no idle jobs in queue
whenever there are
# qstat | grep Q
Job id Name User Time Use S Queue
224163.node2 ...ravana_cell20 volodya 0 Q verylong
224164.node2 ...ravana_cell21 volodya 0 Q verylong
...
# diagnose -j | grep Idle
224163 Idle ALL 1 DEF 41:16:00:00 0 1 volodya volodya - 00:00:00 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] >=0 >=0 NC0 [verylong:1] [NONE]
224164 Idle ALL 1 DEF 41:16:00:00 0 1 volodya volodya - 00:00:00 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] >=0 >=0 NC0 [verylong:1] [NONE]
...
I'm running Debian unstable with
torque 1.2.0p6-1 Tera-scale Open-source
maui 3.2.6p14-1 Scheduler for PBS-based and
Please advise where to look next to resolve the issue
