[Mauiusers] Maui and OpenPBS queue to node mapping

Hello,

I'm using Maui 3.0.7p8 and OpenPBS 2.4.

I've been trying to set up 2 queues with their own nodeset. For this
I've followed the instructions in Maui manual section "12.1.3.1
OpenPBS Queue to Node Mapping", but no luck so far.

This means for each queue in PBS the acl_host_enable option is set to
false and the acl_hosts are defined. In the maui.cfg I've created:
  NODECFG[node1] PARTTION=workq
entries for each node. There are two partitions.

And also the following entries in maui.cfg:
CLASSCFG[workq] PLIST=workp PDEF=workp
CLASSCFG[CFXq] PLIST=CFXp PDEF=CFXp

I can submit jobs, but these will always stay queued and never start
running.

/root/ # diagnose -c
Diagnosing Classes
[NUM] Name Priority Flags QDef QOSList* PartitionList
[000] [NONE] 0 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] [NONE]
[001] [ALL] 0 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] [NONE]
[002] workq 0 [NONE] DEFAULT DEFAULT [NONE]
[003] CFXq 0 [NONE] DEFAULT DEFAULT [NONE]

The partitions are not mapped to the queues/classes.

If I change the CLASSCFG settings to:
CLASSCFG[workq] PLIST=workp PDEF=workp QLIST=test QDEF=test
CLASSCFG[CFXq] PLIST=CFXp PDEF=CFXp QLIST=test QDEF=test

then :
/root/ # diagnose -c
Diagnosing Classes
[NUM] Name Priority Flags QDef QOSList* PartitionList

[000] [NONE] 0 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] [NONE]
[001] [ALL] 0 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] [NONE]
[002] workq 0 [NONE] test test [workp]
[003] CFXq 0 [NONE] test test [CFXp]
[004] DEFAULT 0 [NONE] [NONE] [NONE] [NONE]

The partitions are mapped to the queues/classes, but not according to
checknode which still returns for all nodes:
Classes: [DEFAULT 0:1]

Overall result is that jobs can be submitted, but never start to run.

I've also tried setting acl_host_enable to True, but this isn't the
problem.

Where/what is the mistake in either the PBS or Maui config?

Any help/suggestions is appreciated a lot!

Thanks in advance.

Erik
