I'll not be able to get back to this until next week to test it, but the great
thing about open source software is anyone can test this with valgrind and
confirm the leaks are gone.

I ran it under Valgrind by doing:
valgrind -v --leak-check=full --log-file=maui /usr/local/sbin/maui -d
That was with 2.4.0, but I noticed 3.0.0 is out now so the arguments may have
changed (unlikely I guess).
