Hi all,
this is the standing res part of our maui.cfg (Maui 3.2.6p9):
SRCFG[express] STARTTIME=7:00:00 ENDTIME=20:00:00
SRCFG[express] PERIOD=DAY DAYS=MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI
SRCFG[express] HOSTLIST=snode08[3-6]
SRCFG[express] CLASSLIST=express
SRCFG[express] DEPTH=5
SRCFG[em64t] PERIOD=INFINITY
SRCFG[em64t] HOSTLIST=snode1[0-3][0-9],snode14[0-8]
SRCFG[em64t] CLASSLIST=bco_long,bco_normal,special
SRCFG[mnox] PERIOD=INFINITY
SRCFG[mnox] HOSTLIST=snode15[0-9],snode16[0-4],snode149
SRCFG[mnox] CLASSLIST=iband,special
SRCFG[def] PERIOD=INFINITY
SRCFG[def] HOSTLIST=snode0[0-9][0-9]
SRCFG[def] CLASSLIST=serial,parallel,serial_long,fhg,lstm,jung,hmh,xsct,kurs,special,bygrid,express
All available nodes are part of some standing reservation (this is our
way of doing queue-node binding). This works fine so far, but
sometimes we'd like to establish an administrative reservation with
'setres', for some user with special needs or for interactive tests.
As all nodes are already reserved, this fails.
Any ideas how one could establish queue-node binding without
sacrificing the ability to have admin reservations?
Thanks in advance,
Georg.
