I suspect they're a bit nervous about supporting a migration, the
release notes (just managed to find, thanks Scott) do say:
# There have been many very substantial changes between the database
# schema and objects in Gold Allocation Manager 2.2 and Moab Accounting
# Manager 7.0 and the safest and cleanest migration strategy would be
# to start out with a blank install of Moab Accounting Manager 7.0 and
# then add the new accounts, allocations, etc. into the new system
# afresh (either manually or by import scripts written by your site).
#
# For those willing to risk it, we have made a best-effort attempt to
# create database migration scripts which will attempt to convert an
# existing Gold Allocation Manager 2.2 database into a Moab Accounting
# Manager database. These are NOT guaranteed to work correctly on your
# database.
and:
# USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
:-)
cheers,
Chris
