If you do not have a resource manager, you can freely download TORQUE 2.0.

Evaluation Steps

l. Moab Workload Manager

Step 1: Register for your free username and password. Forgot your username and/or password?

Step 2: Download Moab Workload Manager.
You can either run Workload Manager alone or connect to it with the graphical tools, Moab Cluster Manager and Moab Access Portal.

Step 3: Read the basic or detailed instructions on how to install Moab Workload Manager. Once you have configured and installed it you can run Moab in test mode (flash demo) so that it doesn't affect workload, or run it on live on the cluster. Reference the online documentation for more information on configuration.

NOTE: The following steps apply ONLY if you want to connect Moab Cluster Manager and Moab Access Portal to your cluster.

ll. Moab Cluster Manager

Step 4: Download Moab Cluster Manager for your operating system (select the appropriate OS below)

Step 5: After installing Moab Cluster Manager, connect to "Local Connection" if installed on the head node, or choose the "remote connection" option if installed on a workstation. The Moab Workload Manger Path refers to the location of Moab's client commands, like showq and mdiag. (default- /usr/local/bin)

NOTE: Once inside Cluster Manager, click on the help menu for documentation.

lll. Moab Access Portal

Step 6: Download and install Moab Access Portal or view the Moab Access Portal Online Demonstration to evaluate the Web-based end user job management and submission capabilities. Refer to the basic or detailed Quickstart Guides for instructions on installing Access Portal.
