Optimizing your Compute Resources
Cluster Resources Inc. announces the release of Moab 5.0 - a family of management products for Cluster, Grid and Utility computing environments.
Moab, the most widely used management solution on Top500 supercomputers, allows organizations to integrate scheduling, managing, monitoring and reporting of HPC environments. It gives supercomputer administrators the ability to set policies, schedule workload and automate jobs.
The new release of Moab is significant because it marks definitive upgrades to its grid and utility computing abilities. Moab 5.0 has added functionality in the areas of data staging, virtualization, new diagnostics, and scalability. See the CHANGES file for a more detailed explanation of new features, enhancements, and fixes.
Cluster Resources will hold two free online training sessions February 23 and 26. The training will consist of six one-hour classes repeated two days. Thirty slots are available each day for the training. If you would like to receive an invitation to the training, e-mail email@example.com. Customers and partners will be given first priority and other slots will be filled as space allows.
Training recordings will be posted on line after the live
training session. To view last year’s training session, go to www.clusterresources.com/techtraining.
Cluster Resources wants to wish customers, partners and members of our open source community a merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year.
For those who did not get a chance to visit Cluster Resources’ at SC06 last November, we have posted the demonstrations that were presented there. Four demonstrations are available on topics including utility computing, Moab Grid Suite, Virtualization and Statistics. The demonstrations are available for viewing at Cluster Resources’ Web site (SC06Demos).
